ALEXANDRIA, La. – During Monday's meeting, police jury members gave the go ahead to begin the Henry Street sewer system improvements.
Residents in that area have been dealing with sewer problems for several years.
Rylee Contracting won the $652,000 bid for the project. No word yet on when construction will begin.
