Police Investigate Suspicious Death

ALEXANDRIA, La. – Police are investigating a suspicious death of a man. The body was discovered on England Drive and Browns Bend Road Wednesday morning.

According to the Alexandria Police Department, investigators say they found the body in a car at 598 Browns Bend Road. Police were called to the location at 10:26 a.m. this morning after the body was discovered by a passing motorist.

Police say the cause of death is undetermined at this time. A autopsy and other forensic testing will be scheduled. The man's identity is also being withheld until next of kin is notified.

This investigation is ongoing and police will not released any more details at this time.
