ALEXANDRIA, La. - Alexandria firefighters were on the trucks in the middle of the night Monday fighting a blaze on Monroe Street.
The fire started in the 1600 block, but spread to the house next door on 16th Street.
Fire investigators say there was no electricity to either house.
The fire is still under investigation.
