Road Closes For Two Months

ALEXANDRIA, La. - A busy Alexandria road is going to be closed for a long time.

Starting Wednesday, work will begin on left turn lane improvements at the Sterkx Road and MacArthur intersection. The crossover between north and southbound MacArthur will be closed.

As long as weather cooperates, the road will be closed for about two months.
