BATON ROUGE, La. - After a weekend of trading attacks over Mitt Romney's tenure at Bain Capital and his refusal to release more tax returns, both candidates were on the road courting voters on Monday.
Romney was in Baton Rouge focusing on America's struggling economy, while the president campaigned in the swing state of Ohio.
Romney will go to Ohio on Wednesday, and President Obama plans more campaigning later this week in another key swing state, Florida.
President Obama is expected in Louisiana on July 25 for a public event and a closed fundraiser.
NBC'S Jennifer Johnson has the story.
