ALEXANDRIA, La. - Police is currently investigating a reported robbery at the Dollar General in Alexandria.
At 2:17 p.m. Thursday, officers arrived at the store, located at 5101 Horseshoe Drive, and found out that a man came into the store armed with a handgun, demanded money, and then fled on foot.
The man did not steal anything from the store, according to police.
Detectives were called out to assist in locating the man. A K-9 was brought in to help officers search the neighborhood, but so far the robber is still on the loose.
