ALEXANDRIA, La. - Research in farming and agriculture was highlighted at a special field day in southern Rapides Parish.
The gathering attracted scientists, farmers and members of the public to the Dean Lee Research Center.
The event kicked off with a hayride tour. It's was also an opportunity for the public to learn more about research that's being studied on crops like soybeans, corn, cotton and sugar cane.
