Another rainy day is in store for Sunday as a low pressure trough continues to disturb the atmosphere. We'll see conditions similar to the last few days- scattered showers and thunderstorms throughout the day.
Once we get through the weekend things will begin to slow down rain-wise as high pressure builds in from the east. You can expect more of a regular summer time pattern which means a 20-30% chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon hours due to daytime heating.
As far as temperatures go we'll begin to warm up back into the mid to upper 90's as the high pressure continues to build. Dew points will also climb due to a strong southerly flow off of the Gulf, which will keep the humidity high and also the heat index.
