Kathleen Witte joined the KALB news team in July 2012 as a Multimedia Journalist.

She was promoted to co-anchor our weekday evening newscasts in April, 2013.
 
Kathleen comes to Cenla from Nashville, Tennessee, where she was born and raised.  Despite her Tennessee upbringing, she's a Tar Heel for life after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 2012 with degrees in journalism and political science.
 
Kathleen gained hands-on television news experience interning at WTVD-TV in Raleigh-Durham, as well as reporting and anchoring for UNC's newscast, Carolina Week.
 
In addition to reporting the news, Kathleen enjoys reading, traveling, swimming and attending flea markets.  Kathleen is happy to call Alexandria her new home, and she looks forward to getting to know yet another great southern state.
