ALEXANDRIA, La. – Police released an update about a killing on Gordon Street that occurred a few weeks ago.
According to police reports, there was a fight involving a group of teens on the street where 19-year-old Jared Gilliam was fatally shot.
The suspect, Kendale Stevens, 16, was charged as an adult for second-degree murder and the illegal use of a weapon.
He remains in the parish jail late Friday afternoon. No word if a bond was set.
