Over the next several days we'll continue to see HOT temperatures across CenLa. That's because high pressure is continuing to build in across the region. This means that over the next week or so we'll see warm temperatures and low rain chances.

Sunday and Monday look to be the warmest days next week. High temperatures will climb to near or above 100 degrees for both days. We'll see a return to southerly flow which means humid conditions....making it feel even hotter than it is! When the high temperatures combine with high humidity that makes the temperature feel even warmer on your skin. Both Sunday and Monday will see heat index values of 101-107.

The good news is that rain chances are low throughout the week. It you have any outdoor activities planned the weather will be nice, but make sure to use caution in the heat. Try to plan activities early in the morning or later in the evening in order to escape the warmest temperatures. If you have to be outside during the afternoon drink plenty of water, take frequent breaks, and wear light colored clothing. The UV index will also be high, so don't forget the shades and the SPF!

Stay Cool!
