ALEXANDRIA, La. - The Food Bank of Central Louisiana is getting a helping hand.
Throughout August, all 14 area Capital One bank branches will be helping the food bank's backpack program. People who want to help are encouraged to donate new or barely-used backpacks at any Capital One Bank.
The backpacks are filled with food and given to kids at their school on Friday afternoons to take home.
