ALEXANDRIA, La. – City officials announced Thursday that the project to repair the concrete pavement on Industrial Street is scheduled to begin Aug. 6.
The street repairs will consist of concrete paving panel replacements on Industrial Street between Lee Street and North Boulevard.
The work is scheduled to take one month to complete. The Industrial Street traffic will be reduced to one lane during work hours and two lanes during non-working periods.
During work hours, officials also say the commuters will experience delays due to the reduction to the one-lane traffic.
