RAPIDES PARISH, La. - A mother is in jail Thursday and accused of making meth with her three small children in the home.
Deputies say they found a meth lab inside a home on Brown Bend Road in Alexandria when the small children were inside.
Authorities say their mother, 21-year-old Stephanie Moncivais was part of a group of adults making meth. The children were handed over to child services and tested. The results showed two of the children tested positive for methamphetamines, according to police.
Moncivais is charged with creation and operation of a clandestine lab and contributing to the delinquency of juveniles. She's being held on a $15,000 bond.
