ALEXANDRIA, La. - Students are getting mentally and physically prepared through the JROTC programs in local schools.
At Bolton High School, the Air Force Leadership Camp started this week, and included five days of initial instruction into drill, formation and JROTC standards.
The instructor, Col. Douglas Black says that the activities performed in the camp not only get the kids ready for the fall, but it gives the tools that they can use for a lifetime.
