ALEXANDRIA, La. – The national "kiss in" at Chick-fil-A was organized by the GLADD organization Friday. Supporters of gay marriage were supposed to have same-sex public displays of affection at Chick-fil-A restaurants across the country.
This is in response to Wednesday's Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day. NewsChannel 5/CBS 2 went back to the Chick-fil-A restaurant on Jackson and Macarthur and saw no signs, no protestors and no kissing couples.
There were the usual lunchtime lines inside and at the drive-thru, but no kiss-in.
The manager said he only saw chicken fans.
