APD Makes Several Burglary Arrests

ALEXANDRIA, La. -- Alexandria Police have solved an extensive number of residential and vehicle burglaries in the city.

APD tells us they've been working on several cases in West Alexandria, including the areas of Charles Park, West Pointe and Tennyson Oaks.

Arrests include Nicholas and Benjamin Coco of Pineville and William Barton of Alexandria for home invasion.

Barry Batiste of Alexandria for vehicle burglary.

Robby Hickman of Alexandria for aggravated and simple burglary. And, Marty Coleman of Alexandria for simple burglary.

Police say more arrests could be on the way.

"Other arrests are expected and we believe we'll be able to clear additional cases through these arrests," said Sgt. Bruce Fairbanks of APD. "Some of those that have been arrested, may be facing additional charges as the investigation goes on."

Police say the arrests clear up approximately 20 burglary cases around Alexandria.
