PINEVILLE, La. – Last week, the Pineville Police Department arrested local men on rape and sex charges in connection with an ongoing investigation. On Monday, the department arrested Demarcus Kieel, 21, and charged him with two counts of aggravated rape.
Eldric Woods, 29, of 412 Sanders Street, was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated rape. Raymond Ferrell, Jr., 25, of 533 Lakeview Street, was charged with two counts of aggravated rape and two counts of oral sexual battery.
Authorities say these arrests are part of the investigation involving Lavelle Davis.
Police say the investigation led investigators to secure warrants on Woods and Ferrell because of evidence that Davis, Woods, and Ferrell solicited or participated in illicit acts with children.
Authorities also say they are searching for a black man with the nickname of ‘Poppa.'
