ALEXANDRIA, La. - Law enforcement agencies and communities across the country are teaming up Tuesday to take back their neighborhoods.
It's all part of an event called National Night Out. Officials say the idea is to rally the community to get crime off the street, while showing the importance of police and community partnerships.
From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. tomorrow, residents are encouraged to visit the Alexandria police headquarters on Bolton Avenue to meet local police officers and talk with them directly.
