ALEXANDRIA, La. - A Lecompte man is out on bond after being arrested for rape. Rapides Parish Sheriff's deputies say they received a complaint that 22-year-old Shawn Layne Sonnier was engaging in sexual acts with juveniles.
Deputies say they arrested Sonnier and charged him with forcible rape and sexual battery. He posted an $85,000 bond and is now awaiting trial.
