RAPIDES PARISH, La--The trial of the man accused of shooting three people at Club Platinum in 2010 ended Tuesday night with a jury finding him guilty.
Wardell Williams was found guilty of three counts of attempted second degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The jury deliberated for a little more than an hour before returning with a verdict.
Three people were injured when shots rang out after a fight inside the club. Williams was arrested a two weeks later for the shooting.
Sentencing is set for August 27th.
