ALEXANDRIA, La. - America's veterans have talent and two of them are right here in Cenla.
Linda Bowers and William Parrie were honored for their achievements by the VA at a national creative arts contest.
Bowers received two third-place awards for her storytelling entries. Parrie received an honorable mention for his leather embossing skills.
The Alexandria VA plans to add its own local creative arts competition in the near future.
