ALEXANDRIA, La. – Two men were arrested and charged Sunday after police received reports about burglaries at the Pentecostal Church campground.
According to police reports, deputies saw a suspicious vehicle pulling out of the Pentecostal Church campground near the Hickory Hill Road area in Tioga.
Police eventually made contact the driver, Irving Foots, 21 of Alexandria, and the passenger, Kelvin Easley, 42 also of Alexandria.
During an investigation, deputies discovered a large amount of power tools and extension cords in the vehicle. In past reports, there were some power tools taken from the shop at the camp.
Both suspects were placed under arrest for simple burglary of a church or other religious building and transported to the Rapides Parish Detention Center for booking.
Easley was also booked on warrants for contempt of court, probation violation and failure to pay fine.
