Overview
Today, a ridge of high pressure is anchored over
the Eastern half of the nation. This is providing Northeasterly winds, clear
skies and Less humidity (resulting in a pleasant feel, outside). This ridge of
high pressure will remain anchored over the area until it begins to break down
on Friday, in advance of our next weather maker. Elsewhere, there is a
developing Low Pressure System in the Northern Plains
In the Tropics, eyes are fixed on three different areas of interest in the
Atlantic Basin, to include T.S. Isaac & T.D. TEN.

Discussion
Today, pleasant conditions are abundant and will continue as we remain under
the influence of this ridge of high pressure that has anchored itself over the
viewing area. Expect low humidity values, clear skies (with a few clouds) and
comfortable conditions to remain in the planner throughout the later part of
the work week. Friday, we will see increasing clouds, rising rain chances and
returning moisture, resulting in the warm and muggy summertime pattern that we
are used to.
For the rest of the day
Expect plenty of sunshine with In & Out, light cloud cover, becoming partly
cloudy at times. Rain chances will remain low through Thursday and begin
increasing Friday afternoon. As we are on the southern periphery of a High Pressure
Ridge, Easterly winds will continue today and begin shifting later on Thursday.
This high pressure is also keeping the humidity values low and assisting our
overnight temperature in getting much cooler than we have been seeing.
So, we will see Clear skies with a little cloud cover, Temps in the upper 80's
and lower 90's, Low rain chances, low humidity values an comfortable conditions
today and tomorrow.
For the rest of the 7day planner
A ridge of high pressure will remain anchored over the area until the later
part of the week. We will then see increasing clouds, coupled with rising rain
chances, as high pressure breaks down. With this being said, expect temperatures
to also remain low, as well. Through the weekend, temperatures will gradually
begin to rise and humidity values will rise as wind directions swing to the
South & SE and the setup returns to a typical summertime pattern.
TODAY...Expect
clearing skies through the morning, becoming mostly sunny to partly cloudy with
in and out clouds and seasonal temps. Highs 89-95. East wind 2-10 mph.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Fair sky and continued pleasant
conditions. Lows 64-70. Little or no wind.
