ALEXANDRIA, La.—The "clay woman" is in town this week at the River Oaks Square Arts Center.
Rachel Ballentine is offering a pottery workshop Thursday and Friday at the center.
Ballentine says she only works with natural clay that she digs up, along with other materials found in nature.
She will be on-hand for an opening reception Friday evening at River Oaks.
