PLAQUEMINES PARISH: On Monday, August 27, 2012, starting at 12:00 p.m., Plaquemines Parish Officials are ordering a mandatory evacuation for the east bank of Plaquemines Parish. There will be a voluntary evacuation for the south end of Plaquemines Parish from Ironton to Venice on Monday at 12:00 p.m. Belle Chasse Auditorium will be opened as a shelter. All schools are closed except Belle Chasse Middle School, Belle Chasse High School and Belle Chasse Primary School.
