Jones Resigns From Rapides Parish

ALEXANDRIA, La. - Dr. Gary Jones has announced that he is resigning effective Friday as the superintendent of the Rapides Parish Schools Board.

The school board has been searching for a new Rapides Parish school superintendent for months. 

If he didn't resign, his contract would have expired at the end of the year.
