FORT POLK, La. – Monday the command center on post, held meetings about implementing their 5-thousand page plan.
If the storm comes closer to their training center and homes, the soldiers will be taken care of. The leaders we spoke with tell us that this kind of preparation is nothing new for them.
"Every year, it's an annual requirement for about sixteen different scenarios that include anything from a hurricane, tornado, to a man made type terrorist event, and it that there are about thirty capabilities that we've identified of things that we should be able to accomplish," says Ken Lavalley.
