rainfall prompted several Flash Flood Warnings throughout Central Louisiana.
This heavy rain that is associated with the storm formally known as Isaac will

Discussion
Our weather through the next couple of days will be wet as this plume of
moisture moves in the wake of Isaac. This means that rain will be scattered and
tapering off this weekend. Areas in Cenla have already seen 8 inches and can
expect more rain today.
For the rest of the day
Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies with In & Out cloud cover. Rain
chances will remain good throughout the day and we will see gusty winds at
times. This system has a local history of prompting severe Watches, Warnings
and Advisories. As our ground is already saturated and more rain is on the way,
expect to see a continued threat of more Advisories and Statements being
issued.
Highs are still expected to rise into the lower to mid 90's with Heat Index
values ranging from 100-105.
