ALEXANDRIA, La.—Before Isaac left the Cenla area completely, it dumped one more heavy rainstorm on much of the area, creating some flooding and shutting down roads and at least one school.
LSU Alexandria students were supposed to go back to class Friday, but shortly after the school opened, leaders shut it down again due to high water on the campus. LSUA will re-open now on Tuesday, Sept. 4th.
Natchitoches and Winn Parish school leaders decided Thursday to keep their schools closed until Tuesday, Sept. the 4th as well.
Louisiana College will also go back to school on Sept. 4th.
