ALEXANDRIA, La. - Lawyers from around Alexandria came together Wednesday for their annual Opening of Court Ceremony celebration.
The event is a historical tradition where lawyers come together after their summer break and recognize all of the new lawyers who passed the bar and now work in Alexandria.
They also remember the lawyers who have died within the year, and honor lawyers who have been practicing law for 50 years.
