Overview
A ridge of High Pressure remains anchored over our region. This ridge will continue to build in as a low pressure system (Over North-Central Gulf of Mexico) meanders over open water. A Low Pressure System is developing over the Plains. This will be our next weather maker. A front will move through Cenla on Saturday.

Discussion
Through Friday, our weather will be under the influence of the High Pressure Ridge. As usual, this high pressure will bring with it clear skies (with only a few light clouds), a warming trend and Light & Variable winds with low rain chances. These conditions will continue through Friday. At that time, expect gradually increasing clouds with rising rain chances, late on Friday.
  
For the rest of the day
Expect plenty of sunshine with a few clouds possible throughout the afternoon hours and a slight chance for showers with a stray thunderstorm possible. Conditions will become partly, Hot & Humid. Highs will rise well into the 90's and Heat Index values will range from 102-108. Winds will be light to moderate and variable.

Through the Friday, expect to see rain chances remain low with abundant sunshine. Tomorrow, expect gradually increasing clouds and rising rain chances, overnight. This weekend will bring with it, a cold front. This means good rain chances, followed by clearing skies and cooler temperatures, come Sunday. However, Today and tomorrow, conditions will be HOT & HUMID with Heat Index values ranging from 102-110.  If you spend an extended amount time in the sun today, drink plenty of water.

TODAY...Expect mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies with In & Out light clouds. Highs 94-100 with heat index values ranging from 105-110. Winds from the West, becoming SE 2-8mph

THURSDAY NIGHT...A Fair to partly cloudy skies and muggy. Lows 71-78. SW wind 2-8mph.
