RAPIDES PARISH, La. - A lane shift for drivers along Hwy 165 in Pineville started Thursday.
The two existing lanes of Hwy 165 between the Buhlow boat ramp and Rainbow Drive will be closed. Traffic in that area will be shifted to a couple of new lanes next to the existing lanes.
The move is part of the ongoing construction of the new northbound roadway. The revised traffic pattern will remain in effect for about six months.
