ALEXANDRIA, La. - Bit of a friendly competition is set in honor of Sept. 11, and it's designed to help save lives.
The Rapides Parish SWAT team is sponsoring a blood drive at the Lifeshare Blood Center.
The idea behind the challenge is to get local law enforcement from around the area to donate blood in remembrance of the first responders who died during the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
