ALEXANDRIA, La. - A catholic radio ministry is serving up lunch Tuesday to help raise money for its broadcasts.
Plate lunches will be sold from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. outside the Radio Maria studios on Washington Street in Alexandria. The lunch menu is pork and sausage jambalaya.
The cost is $7 per plate. Radio Maria's programming includes music, teaching, prayer and talk shows. In the Alexandria area, you can hear the station on AM 580 and in Natchitoches, it's at 89.7 FM.
