NATCHITOCHES, La.—A Natchez, Louisiana man is in jail tonight, accused of aggravated rape of a 12-year-old girl.
Natchitoches Police say the victim was contacted by 19-year-old Lamont Dorsey, of Natchez, La, using a cell phone.
The victim told police that she met with Dorsey several times, and had sex.
Dorsey is charged with aggravated rape and computer aided solicitation of a minor.
Dorsey is in the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center awaiting bond.
Detectives say aggravated rape carries a life sentence without the possibility of parole, and computer aided solicitation of a minor carries a sentence of not less than 5 years.
