Guitars Worth Over $50K Stolen

PINEVILLE, La. – Six rare guitars and a laptop were stolen from a Pineville home.

According to the sheriff's office, the items were taken from a home in the 2800 block of Donahue Ferry Road in Pineville on Sept. 6.

Deputies say someone broke into a garage and gained access into the home. A Toshiba laptop was stolen, along with the guitars worth over $50,000. 

A $1,000 reward is being offered for the recovery of the items. Here's a list of the makes and models:

  • Fender Telecaster
  • Martin D28
  • Martin D42 K2
  • Martin D42 Flame Mahogany
  • Martin HPD416E
  • Manuel and Patterson D14 Indian Trail

The Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in providing any information regarding the burglary by calling Det. Lt. Adrian Lamkin at 318-641-6000.
