RAPIDES PARISH, La. - The first annual Le Tour de Bayou was this weekend and it was a big success.
Kent House officials say they expected about 200 participants in the cycling and foot races, but ended up with more than 600.
The first committee meeting is next week. Next year's event is set for Sept. 21, 2013.
