LSU Presser On Bomb Threat Suspect Today

BATON ROUGE, La. – A press conference will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m. regarding the arrest of the bomb threat suspect, William Bouvay, Jr.

LSU has confirmed that Bouvay is not a LSU student.

The press conference will take place in the Cook Room of the Lod Cook Alumni Center, located at 3838 West Lakeshore Drive in Baton Rouge.

LSU Interim System President and Interim Chancellor William Jenkins, along with representatives from some of the agencies involved in the investigation are scheduled to be at the presser.

Shortly before midnight on Tuesday, Bouvay, 42, of Skysail Avenue in Baton Rouge, was arrested and later booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison for communicating of false information of planned bombing.
