Overview
There is a Ridge of High Pressure that is anchored over much of the Eastern half of the nation  and continuing to slide to the East. As this high pressure moves out, a weak cold front will be moving through later tomorrow. In the wake of this cold front, more high pressure will influence the forecast.

Discussion
A ridge of High Pressure is anchored over our region and will continue to influence conditions in Central Louisiana. This pressure is beginning to start breaking down, somewhat. There is a weak cold front that is moving into the area. This means that we will see gradually increasing clouds in advance of the front. The good news is that the front is prompting very low rain chances as it is only a reinforcing cold front and only a few isolated events are expected on Saturday. In the wake of this weak front, skies will remain mostly sunny to partly cloudy for a few days.
  
For the rest of the day
Expect mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies with warmer conditions. Highs will climb to the mid 80's and lower 90's. As winds become Southerly, some moisture will move into the area and humidity values will be moderate. (There will not be enough moisture for any Heat Index.). Overnight, lows will drop into the 60's and be comfortable.

A weak cold front moves through on Saturday and will provide some increasing cloud cover, becoming partly cloudy skies with low rain chances. In the wake of this weak front, High Pressure will influence our weather through the rest of the 7day planner. For the entire forecast period, highs will be at or below 90 degrees and rain chances will remain low. Overnight lows will range through the 50's and 60's.

TODAY...Mostly sunny skies and warmer with light clouds this afternoon. Highs 84-91. S/SW wind 2-10mph.

FRIDAY NIGHT...Fair skies and not as cool. Lows in the 60s. Little or no wind.
