Man Caught With Meth At Home

Posted: Updated:

PINEVILLE, La. – Sheriff deputies closed a three-month investigation involving a man distributing meth out of his home in Pineville.

According to sheriff's office reports, detectives arrested Allinson in January on five counts of narcotics violations. Allinson was on probation, facing eight years at Hard Labor.

When the investigation started in July, detectives say Jeremy Allinson, 32, of 5591 La. 107 in Pineville was still selling large quantities of "glass" or "ice" methamphetamine.

On Friday morning, detectives found Allinson, Amber Allinson and a small child at home with over $3,400 worth of methamphetamine, $1,502 in cash, a bag of marijuana and some Xanax tablets.

Allinson was arrested and charged with possession of CDS II to distribute, possession of CDS I, possession of CDS IV, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Allinson was taken into custody without incident. Deputies say while it was determined that the child was not in danger at the time of the arrest, the investigation is still ongoing and more charges may be brought against the couple.
