ALEXANDRIA, La. - Congressman Rodney Alexander had a busy Friday morning presenting awards to two outstanding members of the community.
Local veteran Dewitt Mccullough was presented with six awards for his service in the Korean War, including the Navy Good Conduct Medal, United Nations Service Medal and Navy Rifle Marksmanship Ribbon.
Bonnie Lemoine was presented with a plaque commemorating the Congressional Proclamation she received for her work at Proctor and Gamble. She is retiring after 34 years with the company.
