PINEVILLE, LA - The City of Pineville reports a break in an 8-inch water line on Edgewood Drive, stretching from Pineville Junior High School, back to Highway 28 East.
To make the necessary repairs, water was turned off to homes and businesses that front Edgewood, as well as Comanche and Edith Drives, Raintree Place, and the Edgewood Plaza Shopping Center along Highway 28 East. on Friday evening, Sept. 28.
City of Pineville Water Department crews restored service early Saturday morning.
A Boil Advisory remains in effect for these areas until at least Tuesday, Oct. 2. That's due to lab results on the water that need to be conducted before an all-clear is given.
