ALEXANDRIA, La. -- Alexandria police have arrested an Alexandria woman for allegedly forging checks.
APD says they got a call from workers at bank on Coliseum Boulevard that said 32-year-old Katina Lachney was trying to cash a check on a closed account.
Officers went to the bank to check it out and confirmed with bank workers that the checks had indeed been forged.
Katina Lachney was arrested and booked into the parish jail. She's charged with issuing worthless checks.
