ALEXANDRIA, La. - Police have arrested two men, Richard Prenell and Patrick Smith, who are accused of robbing a man on the 3700 Third St. early Wednesday morning. According to police reports, the victim told APD that the men took some cash and shot at him but missed.

Prenell and Smith were found in their car near I-49 and Broadway Avenue. Both men were charged with attempted first-degree murder and armed robbery.
