Overview
High pressure is continuing to linger over our area, providing sunny skies throughout the area. There is a Low Pressure System north of New England. It has a cold front stretched SW. There is another developing LPS over the Texas Pan-handle, associated with this system. This will be our next weather maker for Cenla.

Discussion
This ridge of high pressure will influence our forecast today, Friday and for a good part of Saturday. Skies will begin to fill in with cloud cover later Saturday. Followed by, a good chance (50%) for scattered rain on Sunday.  So, this cold front is slowly approaching Central Louisiana. However, it will be weak once it gets here. Today & Friday, expect low rain chances with clear and pleasant conditions, overnight.
  
For the rest of the day
Expect plenty of sunshine with a few clouds possible, becoming mostly sunny to partly cloudy at times. Otherwise, there will be low rain chances and a light to moderate wind that will swing around to the South & East, today. These conditions will continue through Friday as a ridge of high pressure remains anchored over the area. Overnight, expect fair skies and cool conditions, again.

Expect pleasant conditions, clear skies and cool nights through Friday and into Saturday. There will also be a slight warming trend leading up to our next cold front. This warming trend will bring temperatures into the 90 degree range for a few days with some humidity. As this front approaches (Saturday) expect increasing clouds and rising rain chances. Throughout the 7 day planner highs will only climb into the upper 80's, before dropping back into the 70's for highs with the beginning of the work week. Sunday will be our next significant chance for rain.
 
TODAY...Mostly sunny skies and warmer than average temperatures. Highs 84-90. S/SE wind 2-10 mph.

THURSDAY NIGHT...Fair skies and a seasonal feel. Lows 57-64. Little or no wind.
