RAPIDES PARISH, La.—The Alexandria-Pineville YWCA is once again honoring women of all ages through its ‘Decades of Women' Luncheon.

The third annual event will be held Thursday, November 8 at Calvary Baptist Church.

This event will honor six women, one from each decade ranging from 20's to 70's+, who have displayed community excellence and achievement.

Each candidate was nominated by members of the community and selected by the YWCA Board of Directors.

The 2012 Honorees are:

20's Distinguished Women – Keianna Williams

30's Distinguished Woman – Kasey Gill

40's Distinguished Woman – Tammi Salazar

50's Distinguished Woman – LeeAnn Whitt

60's Distinguished Woman – Theresa Slater

70's+ Distinguished Woman – Fran Davis

These women will be honored at an Awards Luncheon on Thursday, November 8 from 11:30am – 1:00pm at Calvary Baptist Church.

Jacque Caplan will be the guest speaker for the event. Tickets for the luncheon are $25. Call the YWCA today at 442.3397 to purchase your tickets.
