ALEXANDRIA, La.--Police say 17-year-old Elvonte Guthrie of Alexandria was in a stolen car when it hit a seven and ten year old on the corner of Harris and Branch Streets.

Police charged him with accessory after the fact. He posted $1,000 bond.

The children were hit when a stolen car jumped the curb.

The suspects got out and run. The children were treated for minor injuries.
