ALEXANDRIA, La.—A special children's fun day this weekend will benefit a 5 year-old Cenla girl.
The event benefits Malia Jade Sanchez, who has been undergoing medical treatment at a children's hospital in New Orleans.
Lifeshare Blood Center's mobile unit will also be set up for donors.
It is on Saturday afternoon from 1pm until 5pm at the Alexandria Grand Theatre.
The program will include kids' activities including arts and crafts.
