ALEXANDRIA, La. - With less than a month before Election Day, the Rapides Parish Coliseum Board continue to push their message out about the tax proposal to pay for renovations to the 47-year-old building.
The board is hoping to get the word out about why this proposal is a good idea.
Voters will decide in November whether or not to approve a special tax to make renovations to the Coliseum. Developers want to update lighting and sound equipment, add seating and build a third level.
The police jury decided in June to put the tax on the ballot. Now, it's left up to the voters.
